Judge Al Rosenblatt, in collaboration with the Historical Society of New York Courts (HSNYC), is looking to hire an NYU Law student as a research assistant. The project would require the student to make appointments with and travel to the offices of County Clerks in the Hudson Valley (Putnam County, Orange County, Westchester County for example) to examine the extent of court documents/records under the aegis of the county clerk, how many courts they cover, for what year span, and other similar inquiries. HSNYC will pay the student for their work and cover transportation costs.
