Rose Sheinberg Committee Seeks 1Ls

Posted on

The Rose Sheinberg Program seeks 1L students to serve on the organizing committee for the rest of their time in law school. Each year, the Program invites a person working on cutting-edge issues of gender, race and class to spend a day at the Law School, meet with students, faculty, and the larger community, and give a major address. On March 30, Dean Spade gave the 29th Annual Sheinberg Lecture, entitled No Prisons, No Borders, No Cops. No State?, introduced by Nicole Smith Futrell.

The Committee selects the scholars and organizes the event. Learn more about the program and watch prior lectures at http://www.law.nyu.edu/sheinbergscholar, or contact current committee members. To apply, use this form to submit a paragraph explaining your interest and upload a resume by Monday, April 10.
