The New York Bar Foundation is currently accepting applications for the Local and State Government Law Section Carol Van Scoyoc Scholarship. The scholarship will grant $5,000 to a law student in the State of New York who best exemplifies the core values important to Carol Van Scoyoc, Esq., former chair of the Section and recipient of the Award for Excellence in Public Service. The student shall show academic excellence, a demonstrated interest in public service and an interest in local government law.
