At the start of each fall semester, newly admitted JD students, LLM students, and NYU administrators participate in a variety of service activities to support community organizations in our West Village neighborhood. One of several partner organizations is Hope for our Neighbors in Need (HNN) that serves a weekly community lunch to local residents who find themselves in need of a hot meal.
Students, faculty, alumni/ae, and administrators are invited to volunteer to help prepare, serve, and clean at HNN’s community lunches. In addition to the invaluable help we will provide to those in need, the HNN service activity also has the added benefit of facilitating meaningful interactions between NYU Law students, faculty, alumni/ae, and administrators. We hope you can participate!

Each date mentioned above consists of two opportunities to volunteer, a morning shift and an afternoon shift.
- Set up and cooking crew: 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- Food service and cleaning crew: 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
