Professor Maggie Blackhawk is seeking two Research Assistants commencing in Fall 2022 (likely for the entire 2022-23 academic year), to assist with various writing projects, particularly with editing and blue-booking. Professor Blackhawk’s work focuses on federal Indian law, constitutional law, and legislation.
The hired students will work for standard NYU RA wages. Students will work an average of 10 hours per week, but demand during certain weeks may be higher than others. 2L and 3L students are eligible to apply. Those interested in the position should have some background in blue-booking and doing copy-editing for a legal publication. Prior experience with federal Indian law is preferred. Additional blue book training will be offered to accepted students.
