Grunin Center for Law and Social Entrepreneurship Seeks Research Assistant (Rising 2Ls)

The Grunin Center for Law and Social Entrepreneurship is seeking a Research Assistant for the maintenance and expansion of the Social Enterprise Law Tracker –a status tool that allows users to visualize how laws and regulations impacting social entrepreneurship have spread across the United States. This is a paid position.

Role and Responsibilities: Research Assistants will be responsible for keeping the Social Enterprise Law Tracker up to date with respect to the laws and regulations that are shaping the types of legal forms available to social enterprises in the US.  This work involves performing legal research, as well as data collection, data analysis and data entry. There will also be an opportunity for Research Assistants to help with the strategic plan for the expansion of the Social Enterprise Law Tracker beyond the US.

Research Assistants will also develop an annual report on “The State of Law and Social Enterprise” to be launched at the Grunin Center’s Annual Conference on Legal Issues in Social Enterprise and Impact Investing – in the US and Beyond, to be held on June 2-3, 2020. Qualifications: rising 2L students

Approximate Dates of Employment: Full academic year commitment (2019-2020). The Grunin Center has a slight preference for candidates who are also able to commit to the position for the following academic year (2020-2021).
