Join public defenders (including those who work in deportation defense), organizers and people with direct criminal legal system experience for a nuanced discussion on abolition and public defense. Panelists will share the tensions and opportunities they have experienced and respond to audience questions. The panel will be moderated by Tanya Lozano, CEO at Healthy Hood, and Lead Chicago Organizer at Zealous.
