Nov. 13: NYS Excelsior Fellowship Information Session

Posted on

Calling all 3Ls who may be interested in working for New York State on issues ranging from energy and environmental conservation to human rights and criminal justice.  Please join representatives of the NYS Governor’s Office for an information session concerning the New York State Excelsior Service Fellowship program. The New York State Excelsior Service Fellowship Program is a funded two-year fellowship offering talented individuals hands on training and experience in New York State government. Excelsior Fellows work full time at host executive-branch agencies, advancing the operational aspects of large policy initiatives. Past Fellow placements include the Executive Chamber, Empire State Development Corporation, Justice Center, Department of Environmental Conservation, the Port Authority of NY/NJ, and the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision. Although the Excelsior Service Fellowship Program lasts two years, exceptional fellows may continue to serve New York State. The Fellowship has also served as a great launching pad for many other opportunities!
