Mar. 5: Lunchtime Talk with Professor Kim Taylor-Thompson on Cross-Examination of Complaining Witnesses and Victims

Posted on

March 5, 12:45 pm in VH 202

Come join SRP’s Advocates-in-Chief and NYU Professor Kim Taylor-Thompson for an informal and practical discussion on cross-examining complaining witnesses in cases involving violence and sexual misconduct. Drafting effective cross-examination questions can often feel daunting when the witness is another student alleging physical injury or sexual assault. This discussion will give you the opportunity to learn from a former practitioner with unmatched cross-examination experience in a safe, hands-on setting.

Please come to VH 202 from 12:45 – 2:00pm on March 5th for a candid and informative talk! RSVP here and bring any questions you have. This discussion will be the first in a series of more relaxed lunchtime meetings where advocates can debrief their cases and focus on a particular skill or topic each week. Be on the lookout for future meetings in the next few weekly emails.
