12:30 – 2:00 pm
This Valentine’s Day, give yourself some love. Social justice work is meaningful and vital. It is also difficult. Sustaining the energy to be creative and hopeful over the years requires understanding the potential mental health impact – good and bad – of this work, and developing skills and strategies to build resilience.
Join the Center for Human Rights and Global Justice for a workshop borne out of the Human Rights Resilience Project, a research collaboration between human rights lawyers at NYU and Columbia law Schools and psychologists at Sarah Lawrence College.
Lunch from Dos Toros will be provided.
