1Ls: January and March 2018 MBTI Assessment Workshop Sign-Up

Posted on

The MBTI assessment is offered as an opportunity to deepen your self-awareness and help promote strong group dynamics and an appreciation for diverse approaches to life, work, and the classroom experience. The MBTI isn’t a test, and it isn’t meant to label or categorize you. Instead, it’s intended to give you an additional tool to add to your law school toolbox.

Jeannie Forrest, former Vice Dean for Development and Leadership Initiatives at the Law School, will lead two more MBTI workshops to guide you through the assessment and offer insights on how it can be used to your advantage. Jeannie has a doctorate in psychology and extensive experience administering the MBTI assessment to both law students and legal professionals. She will be joined by guest speakers who will offer their own insights on the assessment and on self-awareness.

If your schedule and interests permit, we hope you will join us for one of the remaining sessions in January or March 2018. Please sign-up here for the date of your choice here. Sign-ups for the January 31, 2018, session will close on Tuesday, January 23.

Wednesday, January 31, 2018, 12:45-2:00 p.m., Greenberg Lounge, Vanderbilt Hall

Wednesday, March 7, 2018, 12:45-2:00 p.m., Greenberg Lounge, Vanderbilt Hall

While attendance at one of these sessions is voluntary, MBTI licensing requirements dictate you must attend a workshop in person in order to receive your MBTI results. You are welcome to attend a workshop even if you haven’t completed the assessment.

If you have any questions or concerns about the assessment or the workshop, please contact Claire Whitman at nyulawleads@nyu.edu.

We look forward to seeing you at a workshop!
