Current 2Ls (JD 2024) who plan to apply for post-graduation judicial clerkship positions this June must participate in the Judicial Clerkship Recommendation Matching program in order to obtain recommendation letters from NYU Law professors (full-time, lawyering, adjuncts, visitors, etc.).
IMPORTANT DATES:

In order to submit a successful bid, you must “rank” the professor and attach a resume and unofficial transcript to the bid.

Monday, April 24: results of the match will be released to students; begin posting your DRAFT writing sample and recommenders questionnaire to your matched recommenders.

Wednesday, April 26 by 5:00 p.m.: deadline to decline a matched recommender.
Keep an eye out for an email with additional details about the Clerkship Recommendation Match
On Thursday, March 30, we will send an email to all 2Ls with the subject “Clerkship Recommendation Match Program: Important Clerkship Deadlines”. If you cannot find the email in your inbox on March 30, please check your spam folder. If it is not there, please reach out to Jim Nesbitt at james.nesbitt@nyu.edu and he will resend it to you.
Going forward, we will only send reminder emails about the match to 2L students who have completed the clerkship registration form on CSM. To complete the registration form, go to the “Clerkships” page of your CSM account.
For a complete list of dates and deadlines, please see the “Class of 2024 Clerkship Deadlines and Checklist” document posted to your CSM/Symplicity account.
