Upper-Level Reading Groups

Posted on

2L, 3L and LLM students have an exciting opportunity to join a spring semester Upper-Level Reading Group. The idea of this program is to pair small groups of students (no more than 12) with one or two JSD candidates who will lead an informal seminar on a topic of particular interest to the convener(s). In addition, Distinguished Jurist in Residence, Mariano-Florentino Cuellar will offer a Group on Crises of Democracy, Globalization, and Technological Change: Implications for Law and Lawyers. Participation is entirely voluntary, though we hope that many students will want to explore in an informal setting topics that range well beyond the curriculum, and enjoy the lively intellectual interchange that a small group allows.

Please take a look at the Group descriptions to determine which might interest you. To view the topics and dates of the Groups, go to the Spring 2019 online class schedule and search for the Title “Upper.”
