Apply Today: Spanish for Lawyers and Haitian Creole for Lawyers in Fall 2022

Boost your professional prospects with one of NYU Law’s non-credit language courses, Spanish for Lawyers or Haitian Creole for Lawyers in Fall 2022!

 

Spanish for Lawyers will be held on Wednesdays from 4:45-6:45 PM, beginning the week of September 14 and running for 12 weeks. It is intended for students who have intermediate Spanish proficiency. The course will be taught primarily in Spanish, and students must complete an Interest Questionnaire (in English) and submit a written statement (in Spanish) to be considered for the course. Haitian Creole for Lawyers will be held Monday afternoons from Mondays from 2:35-4:35 PM, beginning on Monday, September 12 and running for 12 weeks. It is intended for students with limited-to-no previous experience with Haitian Creole, although students of all levels are welcome. Students must complete an Interest Questionnaire to be approved for the course. Please review the course description for more details on the intake process and course content. Each course is 2-credits, but these credits do not count towards the degree and are not factored into degree G.P.A.

 

These classes are open to all full-time and upper-class students. 1Ls are not eligible. To be considered for one of the courses, please complete the appropriate intake requirements by Monday, August 29, 2022 at 9:00 AM. Students admitted to the courses will be notified during the week of September 5, and manually registered shortly thereafter.
