Bidding for Fall 2023 courses will begin on Tuesday, June 20 at 1:30 p.m. You will have an opportunity to bid on Spring 2024 courses beginning August 9 at 1:30 p.m. The login portal for the COURSES registration system is https://courses.law.nyu.edu. While you do not have to put your Fall 2023 bids in immediately, please remember to bid on fall classes before Wednesday, June 28 at 9:30 a.m.

Exam Schedules: Please review the Fall 2023 exam schedule in order to avoid any personal and/or work conflicts. The Fall 2023 exam schedule will be posted by mid-June; the Spring 2024 exam schedule will be posted by early August.
Academic Regulations & Requirements: Please use the information on the Academic Regulations, Course Requirements and Graduation Requirements web page to ensure that you are meeting all JD degree requirements. For example, you must register for a minimum of 12 credits each semester. (See the Year-Long Registration Overview.)
Important Upcoming Registration Dates & Deadlines: Finally, please note these important upcoming registration dates and deadlines. If you want to see just registration deadlines (i.e. COURSES dates) please see the 2023-2024 Registration Calendar.
Here are a few important dates coming up:
- June 27 by 5:00 pm [Eastern Time] – Deadline to submit permissions or waivers (including waivers of prerequisites taken at other law schools) for Fall 2023. Bids for applicable courses will not be accepted without waiver, permission or satisfied pre/co-requisite. Keep in mind that you will be restricted from bidding on a class until your prerequisite waiver has been approved.
- June 28 at 9:30 am [Eastern Time] – Last day to register bid requests for Fall 2023 Bidding Cycle.
