ACP Job Camp Panels Wednesday, Aug. 11

Posted on

We are pleased to invite you to ACP’s annual Job Camp, an event for members of the NYU Law community who are on (or interested in) the law teaching market. This year, Job Camp takes place in two parts. Part 1 will take place on Wednesday, August 11, including two morning panels open to all NYU Law students, graduates, and affiliates who are interested in learning more about legal academia.

The schedule for the panels is as follows:

9:30am – Navigating the Hiring Market, with panelists Margot Pollans (Pace), Emily Winston (South Carolina), and Alexis Hoag (Brooklyn)

10:30am – What Makes a Good Job Talk, with Erin Murphy (NYU)

Please RSVP here, and you will receive an email with the Zoom link for the panels.

Part 2 of Job Camp, which takes place on Friday, September 10, will include mock job talks by NYU alums and affiliates with discussions led by faculty members. Attending some of these talks is an excellent way to support our current candidates and to learn more about the job talk portion of the entry-level hiring process. We will share the schedule for the job talks in a few weeks, but for now, please note the date.
