Restore Archived Courses on Blackboard
Want to restore an archived course? Check out the university’s new self-service tool called the Course Archive Browser: a course restoration tool.
The Course Archive Browser allows instructors to search for their own archived course and restore it.
Check out the link above for more info and instructions or simply follow these four steps:
- Log into your Blackboard course and select the Control Panel.
- Under Course Tools select Course Archive Browser.
- Select Request a Course Restoration.
- You will now see a drop down list of all your previous archived courses. Only those past courses that you were an instructor for will be listed. Select the course you wish to restore. Choose the availability and click Submit.
Once the restoration is complete, you will be able to see your restored class at NYUHome in the Blackboard Course channel under the Academics Tab.
Note: The restoration process might take a couple of minutes depending on how much content is stored in the archive.
