Farm Animals and the Law during NY Week for Animals
In honor of New York Week for the Animals, Farm Sanctuary presents “Farm Animals and the Law,” a panel hosted by New York University Student Animal League Defense Fund (SALDF). Animal law professors David Wolfson and Mariann Sullivan will join Farm Sanctuary’s Director of Legal Campaigns Delcianna Winders to discuss the legal status of farm animals today, legal efforts currently underway to help farm animals, and how we can all use the law to pursue more protections for farm animals. The panel will take place on Wednesday Oct. 14 from 6 to 9 p.m. in Furman Hall 216.
