Please join us for an evening that offers faculty, students and administrators who are passionate about leadership an opportunity to connect with one another, hear from highly regarded leaders and begin a dialogue about how we can best support students in developing ethical and inclusive leadership.
At the networking reception from 5:00-5:45pm, faculty, students and administrators who focus on leadership in their courses, research and programs can connect with each other, and learn more about the exciting leadership work happening across the University. From 5:45-7:15pm, highly regarded leaders across sectors will discuss the leadership required in moments of transformation.
Panelists will include:
- Melody C. Barnes, Vice Provost of Global Student Leadership Initiatives at NYU and former Director, White House Domestic Policy Council and Assistant to President Barack Obama
- Yo-Yo Ma, cellist, policy advocate and founder, Silk Road
- Jake Schwartz, CEO and co-founder of General Assembly, an educational institution that transforms thinkers into creators through education in technology, business and design
- Dr. Wendy Suzuki, Professor of Neural Science and Psychology at NYU and leader of the Suzuki Laboratory
