D’Agostino Hall, Lipton Hall
Annually, representatives from the NYU journals and the Moot Court Board hold information sessions for 1Ls explaining the mechanics of the annual writing competition from which new staff members are chosen. During these sessions, students from each journal and the Moot Court Board will introduce you to their respective programs and offer insight into their selection process. You will leave the meetings with valuable information to help you decide whether you want to participate in the competition and how you will rank the various programs when asked to express your preferences. Additionally, we will explain the Journal Matching System (JMS — the software that manages the writing competition), registration process, and application time line.
These meetings, therefore, are mandatory if you intend to apply. The April 17, 2013 Information Session is held for Sections 4 and 5 in D’Agostino Hall, Lipton Hall.
If you have any questions or problems, please feel free to email Christina Argueta, Chair of the Writing Competition Committee, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
