Chief Justice John B. Doolin Writing Competition

Description: The Supreme Court of Oklahoma and the Sovereignty Symposium, Inc. are pleased to announce a law student writing competition, open to all students enrolled in an accredited law school in the United States, its territories or Canada. The subject matter of the paper may be on any area of the law relating to Native Americans or other indigenous peoples.  The entries in the writing competition must be not less than thirty (30) single-spaced pages or more than fifty (50) single-spaced pages in length. Application Deadline: All entries for Chief Justice John B. Doolin Writing Competition are due by May 1, 2013.

1st Place Prize: $750.00 and publication in the 2013 Symposium compendium of materials.

2nd Place Prize: $500.00*

3rd Place Prize: $250.00*

* 2nd and 3rd place entries will be published in the 2013 Symposium compendium of materials if space permits.
