Nov. 8: Discussion on The Current and Expanding Role of State AG’s Offices

Please join PILC on November 8 from 1:002:00pm in FH 210 for a discussion with former Attorney General of Maine, James E. Tierney, about the world and work of State Attorneys General offices nationwide. Mr. Tierney will speak about the broadening role of State AG offices.  Mr. Tierney is the Director of State AG.org, an organization comprehensive assistance to state attorneys general offices across the country on a host of emerging issues and policy areas that fall within their jurisdiction.  From 1980 until 1990, Mr. Tierney served as the Attorney General of Maine He came to StateAG.org after spending 13 years at Columbia Law School where was as Director of the National State Attorneys General Program and a Lecturer in Law. Light refreshments will be served.
