Professor Gabriel Arkles seeks a part-time research assistant for the fall semester, with a possibility of continuing into the spring. The RA will conduct research on the regulation and enforcement of gender, racial, and religious norms through dress and hair and compile clothing and “grooming” rules from prisons throughout the United States.
