The Furman Center for Real Estate and Urban Policy seeks a research assistant to help with data cleaning and analysis for its annual State of New York City’s Housing and Neighborhoods report and its Preservation Data Project. The RA will work with a team of researchers at the Furman Center. The work requires close attention to detail; proficiency in SAS or STATA, familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, and experience working with large datasets is highly desirable. The RA must commit approximately 10-15 hours per week. Full time positions are also available for the summer.
The Furman Center is a joint research and policy center affiliated with NYU Law School and NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service dedicated to research, teaching, and dissemination of information regarding affordable housing and real estate issues.
