Networking is a powerful tool for attorneys no matter where they practice. Networking can help you find a job, extend your business relationships, and generate new clients. This is a three-part series that will cover several topics related to professional networking and building relationships.

In this installment, students will craft an effective and authentic 10-second “elevator pitch.” This will be a hands-on workshop; come prepared to participate!

Make your Contacts Count: Building Powerful Relationships

During this installment of the Networking series, students will learn the tactics essential to building long-term relationships. Participants will walk away with a “Relationship Plan” to start growing their network.

 

The presenter for the three workshops is Lourdes Olvera-Marshall LLM ‘06, Associate Director of Graduate Affairs. She teaches classes on this topic at NYU School of Professional Studies.
