Spanish for Lawyers at NYU Law, Fall 2017

The Office of Global Programs is pleased to announce that Spanish for Lawyers will be offered during the Fall 2017 semester.

Spanish for Lawyers is a non-degree 2-credit course that will be held on Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7:20 PM. The dates are approximately September 4 through December 8, 2017. The course is intended for high-intermediate speakers only, and 1Ls are not permitted to enroll. While the course does not count for degree credit, students will receive a notation on their transcript. There will be no exam nor outside of class work.

To enroll in the course, interested students will be required to complete an intake process supervised by the instructor to ensure appropriate skill level for the course. The intake process will be administered in late August, and the approved cohort of students will then be registered manually by Records and Registration.

The course description, along with information on the intake process and relevant dates, will be distributed via email and DOCKET announcements in early August. In the meantime, the class will remain closed to bids on COURSES. Inquiries about Spanish for Lawyers can be directed to the Office of Global Programs at law.globalstudents@nyu.edu.
