European Spring Institute 2009

 

Prague’s Center for Public Policy (Centrum pro verejnou politiku, or CPVP) is pleased to announce the forthcoming European Spring Institute 2009 (ESI2009) on “The Future of Europe: Lobbying in Brussels.”

Where: Prague, Czech Republic

When: March 28-April 4

Who: Prague’s Center for Public Policy (CPVP) and INstrategy—Institute for European and National Strategies have teamed up to organize the ninth institute on “The Future of Europe: Lobbying in Brussels” (ESI2009).

Why: The European Spring Institute 2009 is a seven-day academic program designed to bring together 30 undergraduate and graduate students of various nationalities and academic backgrounds to enjoy their spring holidays in a unique academic and cultural environment.

What: The program provides students with an exciting opportunity to deepen their knowledge of current E.U. politics through exchange of ideas with academics, policy practitioners and fellow students of different ethnicities. The ESI2009 combines intensive academic courses with cultural, social and recreational opportunities.

We invite you to visit our new Web site to learn all the details about the ESI2009. The Web site contains updated information about the academic content, practicalities and application process.

We also suggest students submit their applications by the early-bird application deadline of January 30. The final deadline is February 15. Should you have any questions regarding the ESI2009 and/or the application process, please do not hesitate to contact us.
