Loan Deferments
The NYU School of Law uses the National Student Loan Clearinghouse to confirm for lender institutions the enrollment status of students who receive financial aid. The Clearinghouse processes all loan deferments and reports directly to lender institutions. Students with loan deferment forms from their lenders should bring them to the Office of Records and Registration in Furman Hall, Room 400. The forms will be forwarded to the Clearinghouse by the Law School after the drop/add period. We will also ask you to sign a form indicating that you understand that processing is being done by the Clearinghouse.
