Taxes were a big issue in the recent presidential campaign, and they are sure to be a major concern for the new administration. Will the estate tax be repealed? Will deferral end in international tax? Will corporate tax rates fall? How might tax policy be used to address climate change, health care, higher education, child care, poverty and inequality? Please join us for a discussion about the changes the Obama administration may bring to tax policy. Professor Deborah Schenk will moderate a panel discussion with Professors Lily Batchelder, Mitchell Kane and Daniel Shaviro.
