United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit Session at NYU Law on October 4

Dear Law School Community:


The United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit will be at the Law School on Wednesday, October 4 to hear Oral Arguments in four cases: In Re Openings (16-2307), Securiforce International v. Microdea, Inc. (16-2589), R+L Carriers, Inc. v. Microdea, Inc. (16-2688), and Industrial Models, Inc. v. SNF, Inc. (17-1172).  Oral Arguments will be heard from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. in Greenberg LoungeKatherine Strandburg, Alfred B. Engelberg Professor of Law and Faculty Co-Director of the Engelberg Center on Innovation Law and Policy, will moderate a question and answer session with the judges at 4:00 p.m., after arguments conclude.


Please note that the Court has very specific rules on decorum, which they will strictly enforce.  We have attached the rules, and ask that you please review them before registering for the event (please see below).  Please email the Dean’s Office at DeansOffice@mercury.law.nyu.edu if you are interested in the briefs and appendices for these cases.
