Technology and innovations influence standard business practices, law firms must stay ahead of the curve in anticipating and understanding clients’ needs. Two Partners from L&W’s premier developing practices will share their insights on innovations in the marketplace as well as war stories from their multidimensional careers.
Vivian Maese, Esq, a Corporate partner, leads the firm’s FinTech group. Her practice focuses primarily on complex transactions in the financial services industry. Vivian is a former in-house Managing Director and divisional General Counsel of a $4 billion Citigroup multinational line of business. She was also a Managing Director at Salomon Brothers where she was the lead lawyer on the Fulcrom Project which transformed electronic trading on Wall Street.
Serrin Turner, Esq., a Litigation partner, is a former Assistant US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, where he was the lead cybercrime prosecutor. Among other notable cases, Serrin prosecuted the operator of the Silk Road website. He is a member of the firm’s Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Practice, White Collar Defense & Government Investigations Practice and Complex Commercial Litigation Practice.
