Reminder to All Students: Update your CSM Profile
OCS frequently receives requests from employers who wish to contact students directly about upcoming events (receptions, panel discussions, etc.). We create contact lists to distribute to employers based on your CSM profile. Therefore, it is very important that your profile be filled out completely.
Under the “Privacy, Skills and Job Search” tab in your CSM profile, there is an option called “Release My Résumé to Employers.” If you have selected “yes” for this option, we will distribute your name, email address and job search preferences to interested employers. If you do not wish to receive emails from interested private sector employers, please update your preferences. Additionally, OCS and interested employers may search based on the geographic and practice area preferences stated in your profile. We advise you to make these settings as broad as possible so that you will receive all of the relevant communications from our office that interest you.
To stay up-to-date on public interest opportunities, please be sure that you have checked off “Public Interest” in the “Employer Type Preferences” box to receive communication from the Public Interest Law Center.
