Finding Your Niche Career Fair: 6:00-7:30 p.m., Lipton HallAs the economy motivates students to cast a wide net in their career search, many students are wondering: “How have NYU alumni identified and located their own professional niches?” In response, the Office of Career Services invites you to the inaugural “Finding Your Niche” Career Panel and Career Fair.
We have an exciting line-up of firms who will be participating and who look forward to meeting current students. The Fair will showcase sophisticated smaller firms, local offices of firms “headquartered” elsewhere, and foreign-based firms with a U.S. presence and it is designed to facilitate informal meetings with practitioners who work in non-BigLaw firms. We will kick off the event with a brief panel from 5:00-6:00 p.m. The bios of the featured speakers will be available via the Document Library on CSM two days prior to the event. This panel will provide you with some truly unique perspectives and approaches to the job search, as well as insight into the different options that may be out there for you to pursue.
