Lunch with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel for Tax LL.M. Students not eligible for the Honors Program
In response to a high interest in positions with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel from students in the LL.M. program who have prior work experience (and are therefore ineligible to apply for the Honors Program), the OCS has arranged for IRS attorneys to come to campus to have lunch with you. They have agreed to come to lunch on-campus to meet informally with you and discuss the lateral recruiting process. The lunch will be Tuesday, November 3 from 11:30-12:30 in the OCS Conference Room (Fourth Floor of Furman Hall). The attorneys speaking are not collecting resumes and do not have open positions now, but they will give you tips about how to strengthen your online applications for when lateral positions do open up, and will also answer any questions you may have. I hope this will help you in reaching your goal of working at the IRS. Space is limited, you must RSVP to clara.solomon@nyu.edu by October 28. This program is for Tax LL.M. students who are ineligible for the Honors Program only.
