Requests for Postponement/Accommodation of Examinations
Check Your Fall 2008 Exam Schedule Now
Please take the time to review your Fall 2008 examination schedule and note it on your calendar. Students are responsible for taking their exams when scheduled. If you misread the examination schedule or forget to note the dates of your exams now, you will not be eligible for a postponement.
Forms and Calendar
Forms to request postponement of an examination are now available on the Law School web site. The form, which includes a calendar form and an information sheet, can be found here. The forms are also available in the Office of Academic Services, Furman Hall, Room 474. Requests to postpone examinations should be submitted to the Office of Academic Services between Friday, October 24 and Friday, November 7.
The information sheet contains instructions about the conditions under which you may postpone examinations. Please read all the instructions carefully and complete the postponement and calendar forms in full before you submit them to the Office of Academic Services.
Accommodations for Students with Disabilities
If you have not done so already, all students with disabilities who need exam accommodations must immediately register with the Henry & Lucy Moses Center for Students with Disabilities. Their address and contact information to schedule an appointment is: Henry & Lucy Moses Center for Student with Disabilities, 719 Broadway, 2nd floor (212) 998-4980.
In order to be given the accommodation for examinations, students are required to complete and submit a postponement form listing their entire examination schedule to the Office of Academic Services. All paperwork must be completed and submitted by November 7 at 4:45 p.m.
