8:00pm

92Y, 1395 Lexington Ave, NY, NY 10128

Presented by the Forum on Law, Culture & Society (FOLCS.org)

The Supreme Court of the United States is the branch of government with the most mystery, and curiosity. The proceedings are not televised, and yet many are fascinated by the goings on at the High Court, despite having little understanding of the cases decided there, and what they mean for most people.

The Forum on Law, Culture & Society at NYU School of Law, and its partner, 92Y, continues its annual program, Law of the Land: the Supreme Court’s Year in Review. We will take you inside the Court’s major rulings and discuss their bearing on past and future cases. And this year offers a new Supreme Justice.

Join us with the CEO and Founder of Abrams Media and the Chief Legal Affairs Anchor for ABC News Dan Abrams, Supreme Court biographer and CNN legal analyst Joan Biskupic, and Dean Trevor Morrison and Professor Kenji Yoshino of NYU School of Law, along with our moderator Thane Rosenbaum for another fascinating look at the Supreme Court’s just concluded term.

CLE CREDIT for this event is approved in accordance with the requirements of the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board for attorneys to earn 1.5 transitional and non-transitional credits of CLE in the Areas of Professional Practice. New York University School of Law has a financial hardship policy. For more information, please contact Erin Bundra at erin.bundra@folcs.org.
