Academic Careers Program Scholarship Clinic 2017

All law students, alumni and affiliates are invited to attend the Academic Careers Program Scholarship Clinic 2017. This one-day program is focused on preparing for the legal teaching market and takes place on Friday, April 7, from 9:00 am-5:00 pm, in Furman Hall. Current students, alumni and affiliates who are interested in legal academia are welcome to attend all or part of this daylong event.


Scholarship Clinic includes a number of panel discussions of interest to those planning a career in academia as well as scholarship presentations by NYU alums and affiliates with discussions led by faculty members. The schedule for the day is as follows:

10:15am – The Nuts and Bolts of Publishing (FH 216)

11:15am – Coffee Break (FH 216)
11:30am – Developing Your Scholarship & Scholarly Agenda (FH 216)
12:45pm – Scholarship Presentations Pt. 1 (FH 316/324), by alumni and affiliates, led by faculty

01:30pm – Lunch from Murray’s Cheese (FH 442)

02:45pm – Scholarship Presentations Pt. 2 (FH 316/318/324), by alumni and affiliates, led by faculty

03:30pm – Q&A, Cookies & Coffee with Faculty and ACP (FH 442)
04:00pm – Scholarship Presentations Pt. 3 (FH 316/318), by alumni and affiliates, led by faculty
